Work at Countrytyme

Qualifications: Individuals who are open-minded, flexible and self-directed. Interpersonal skills and a sense of urgency are a must! Desire to work with people and have a love for the land!

If You Like Farming (12/30/2009)
You would love this job. You can wear Levis and talk about crops, fertilizer, crop prices and land prices all day every day. Countrytyme needs a good farmer who is able to compute, calculate, appraise, and negotiate farm land purchases and sales on a full time basis with no other businesses or distractions. This is a career job for someone who loves the land and the soil. You would be working with recreational land as well as farmland, and you should be familiar with the farm animal business as well as the grain business.

Not For Wimps(12/30/2009
We are in the business of buying and selling rural land. We need a person who understands the business of farming to assist us in dealing with marginal farm land. We are not looking for a tractor jockey, we want a person who can use a calculator, a computer, a cell phone, a GPS, etc. He needs to understand productivity, fertility, compaction, drainage, fertilizer, herbicides, etc. We talk about land rent, pasture rent, hay sales, and hunting leases.

If you cannot do all of this, perhaps we can still put you to work, if you can listen, learn, and take initiative.

Jim Wilcox, 614-886-7730 / jimw@countrytyme.com.

HUNTING LAND BUSINESS (11/14/2009)

Countrytyme buys and sells hunting property. We need an administrator person, a person who can make deals, and a person who can work with trails and boundaries with contractors. Ability to negotiate valuable. These jobs start part time at $10/hour. But can develop into full time commissioned jobs paying up to $100,000 for dealmakers. And, you can hunt and fish with your job. FLY LIKE AN EAGLE AND GET PAID LIKE A PIGEON! (11/05/09)
Countrytyme needs a person to buy or sell, or both. We "trade" in recreational land in Ohio, mostly in Appalachia. But we need a person for the Cincinnati and Cleveland markets as well as the Columbus and Dayton markets. You will not be a pigeon if you can deal with people, with computers and with telephone and GPS. If people who are different or difficult turn you off, don't try it.

Jim Wilcox, 614-886-7730 / jimw@countrytyme.com.

Real Estate - Land  (10/28/2009)

We are in the rural land business, and we have an opportunity for a Realtor who would like to pick up listings from us and from our investors. This would be part time or full time, but you would have to come to our office in Grove City in order to get the listings and sales leads as they come in. You would be the only person here now working as an agent for others, so you would have a monopoly. The future could lead to participation in our land deals involving hunting land in Appalachia. You could consider our inventory in hunting land your inventory to sell also.

We have been in business since 1959. www.countrytyme.com. 614-86-7730. Ask for Jim.
